Swarovski STS-80 HD Spotting Scope
Sometimes Paul attaches his digital camera to his Swarovski STS-80 HD spotting scope via a custom made coupler. The scope allows Paul to get very close and detailed shots of his subjects. The subjects must be fairly stationary for this to work. Coupling a camera with a spotting scope is a special type of photography known as "digiscoping".
The STS 80 HD observation telescopes set the highest standards among telescopes in this category. Even with the easy-to-handle fully rubberized armouring, the STS 80 HD are by far the lightest of the larger observation telescopes.
