Watson Settlement Covered Bridge Panorama

The Watson covered bridge was built in 1911 and is the farthest north and youngest of Maine's original covered bridges. Built with Howe Design timber trusses, the bridge crosses the Meduxnekeag Stream and has two spans for a total length of 170 feet. The bridge was closed to traffic in 1984 when a new bridge was built beside it. This historic bridge is located in Littleton, Maine on the road to Woodstock New Brunswick.
