Christmas Meringue Cookies
A wonderful Holiday treat from Maine!


Ingredients:
* 1 cup egg whites, * 1 cup granulated sugar, * 1 cup confectionery sugar, * sprinkles

Preperation:
Begin by whipping the egg whites until they start to form a soft meringue, then slowly add the granulated sugar. Whip until stiff, then remove from the mixer. Fold in the confectionery sugar. Pipe the mixture into shapes or spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with holiday-themed sprinkles. Bake in a 200-degree oven until dry (about 60 minutes).
