Chicken Stew
Original recipe:I usually cut in half.

Cook 8 full chicken breasts. Keep broth. Cool breasts and take apart. Set a side chicken. 16 cups cubed potatoes 8 cups sliced carrots 1 whole chopped onion Add above to broth and add: one half jar of Swiss chicken base. 1 teas. savory 1 teas. black pepper 1 teas. parsley Let cook until potato and carrots are done. If you wish to add dumplings continue on below. If not you can add your chicken now. Meanwhile while cooking make dumplings 1 1/2 cups water 1 teas salt. Add flour until thick. Drop in with potato and carrots and when potatoes are cooked, add the cooked chicken.
