|Easy to make and delicious to eat!|
|6 to 8 cans of whole beets (reserve 1 cup beet juice)
Make a brine of:
6 cups sugar
3 cups vineger
1cup beet juice
5 0r 6 pint jars
|Pour beets in a large pan, and heat through.
Make a brine of ingredients above and heat this to very hot.
Put warm beets in pint jars, add 1/2 teas. salt to each jar. Pour hot brine over beets.
Seal, turn upside down till cool.
Any left over brine can be kept in jar in refridge, you can re heat and make one or to jars as you need them.
