GOD Bless America ,again
He knows the shape she is in,
Wash her pretty face

Speaking of pools, here at Fox Run they insist on having a pool monitor (how ridiculous) when most people here are seniors and very few of them use the pool. One day when I was over there some young boys who may not live here wanted to swim, my friend even saw one of them climbing over the fence, then he was going to open the door so his friends could come in. I say: So what? Let them swim, I was going to let them in. It was hot and they just wanted to swim. A pool monitor here at Fox Run. This place does NOT need a pool monitor. It actually needs MORE swimmers.

I understand what Craig is saying, A city this size should have a pool, so what was wrong with keeping the indoor, there would have been enough to keep that going, except for the 1oo plus thousands for extra help at City hall where there a very few employees. A City hall where you can't reach anyone by phone, people are suppose to use their computers, although most people don't have one.

Mona, Another letter to the editor of The Star Herald today was from Craig Green, one of the City Councilors. ... Among various items of information, he noted the pool leakage amounted to about 100,000 gallons a week during the summer! ... Forget the old pool please.

Steve, Mantle lake is stocked every spring, I fished there 2 years ago a friend fishes there about every day early spring. I don't like the taste of stocked fish much, they arem't like cold water brookies.

Good letter in the Star Herald by Bill Dunleavey. The City has gone into the tank with the hiring of this manager, be it him or the council, it is a crime what has happened. It comes down to poor management either way.

Judy, despite 10s of thousands of dollars spent several years ago dredging Mantle Lake, it's still clogged with algae (and bacteria) making it un-swimmable and un-fishable. ... Ducks have no problems though.
