Webmaster, I looked up a picture of what Marilyn described as the Common Mullien weed and I think she is right, that is the name of your mystery plant.

Sorry Webmaster, that plant answer was meant for you, not Steve. Also, it should read "treat" sunburn, not "teat"
sunburn.

Steve, the weed is a Common Mullien. Has yellow flowers. It is a biennial with very velvety leaves. Roman soldiers dipped the stalks in grease and lit for torches. Indians lined their mocassins to keep out cold and colonists used them in their stockings for the same purpose. Leaves are still used as wicks in some areas. Tea can be made from leaves to treat colds and rubbed on skin to teat sunburn. Plant grows on roadsides, fields and waste areas.

Webmaster, maybe we need more managers with their own secretaries. It's a bit top heavy in management.we need to go back to 5 councilors. Check with some of the folks in Lewiston, we aren't done yet. he will be traveling in his "new" position, so that might tell us we can function without him. Maybe he and the governor can find something to do together!!!!!

Steve, I don't blame him. They're running the city right into the ground...

Does anyone know what kind of weed this is? I see a bunch on my walk everyday. They must be close to 6 feet tall and remind me of a cactus

QOD: Spoke with a gentleman on the Reach Road a couple of days ago who has had his home on the market for at least two years. ... He wants to join the 'droves' fleeing the Star City's high property taxes.
