This is one of my favorites
Thanks to Carlton County Colloquialisms
jeepers \'jeep-urz\ interj - Corrupted form of the pejorative "Jesus," used in a manner similar to "jeez", "frigg", and "friggit". Although used interchangebly as an exclamation of frustration or wonder, jeepers can be considered the child-friendly (and therefore, acceptable) version of other pejoratives that are used in a similar manner; "Jeepers! The blackflies are some bad!" See also: Geehover, holy-liftin', jeez, frigg.
My favorite is when I hear someone swearing, If I hear "Son of A Bit--" I know I am in the "city", If I hear "Son of A Who--" I know I am in the County.

Daisy, I recently read a story about a woman that lived near the beach and every year she would find the nests where the turtle eggs were and she staked them so no one would disturb them and checked them every day with her little granddaughter and knew pretty much when they would hatch, if the were lucky they got to watch. it was interesting.

Well, bobby c, if they hatch you can always take them to the beach and release them; it would be interesting to see how much harm an adult snapper wld cause to a croc!

Here is a pic of three snapping turtle eggs that the excavator dug up yesterday, when moving the pile of wood chips. They were all in sphere shape, when he gave them to me; the one that looks collapsed happened overnight.
So, do I have a little snapper running around the house or the shell of a failed egg? The excavator said that he dug up hundreds of the eggs ... most in whole condition. Randy Smith did you talk to your friend a/b his eggs yet?
