The Margaret Gertrude Fitzpatrick Scholarship Fund was established by her family in 2006. Margaret Fitzpatrick was a compassionate nurse, much loved by her patients and students, who worked for 30 years at the Madigan Memorial Hospital in Houlton. She gave generously of her time and talents to her church and community. This scholarship provides assistance to a graduating senior at Houlton High School pursuing post-secondary education in healthcare, with a preference for nursing, at a four-year college or university in Maine.
