The Leland R. Dahlgren Scholarship Fund was established in 1999 by the family and friends of Leland R. Dahlgren. The fund provides scholarship assistance to graduates of Washburn District (Aroostook County, Maine) High School and Yarmouth (Cumberland County, Maine) High School who plan to attend a two or four year college or university to study building-construction related programs [e.g. earthwork, hvac, electrical, architecture, engineering [mechanical, structural], carpentry, masonry, plumbing].
