That’s right! We’re back with another awesome lineup for this year’s Heart of Christmas Benefit Concert. As in past years, 100% of the concert proceeds go directly to Homeless Services of Aroostook, the only homeless shelter in all of Aroostook County. Last year, we brought in a whopping $6,500, and hope to match that at this year’s concert. There were also many generous gift donations for the children who spend Christmas at the shelter, making it a very magical time for them.
Please plan on joining us on Friday, December 16th at 7:00pm at the Caribou Performing Arts Center for this wonderful and meaningful event. Along with featured artist, Stephanie Plourde, guest performers will include the ever popular children’s vocal group, “The Mistletones” directed by Amy Hunter; violinst and New Sweden native, Stephen Boody; vocal aritist, Nicol Smith Sponberg from the Dove Award winning band, “Selah;” and pianist and Caribou native, Margaret Cyr.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 18 years of age and younger. They will be available starting Dec. 1st at Bradley’s Citgo and Graves Shop-n-Save in Presque Isle, and Hannaford and Plourde Furniture Company in Caribou. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Important! If you are unable to attend but would still like to make a contribution, you can do so two ways: 1., Buy as many tickets as you want at any of the ticket outlets mentioned above; Or 2., Go directly to Homeless Services of Aroostook website, www.aroostookhomeless.org and click on the DONATE button. Information is also given if you would like to mail your donation.
