did you find it easy to make friends yet up there ? in Maine yet?
My late first husband was from Carthage and KC Mo. we lived near the Folgers plant in KC wow it smelled good.

When he moved to Aroostook county with me he had a hard time getting to have people accept his dry humor but he worked at Sears in PI and after a wile he was accepted like the rest of the guys!
you do take very good pictures and I hope to see more also hope your first ??? winter up North there is a good one!

well for 2 or more years I have p[osted trivia as G.O.T. and I could not let your feelings be hurt and Mona be hurt and Jeff be in the middle but (we) I learned our lesson about being more careful what we post.

I have some more pictures of that nice momma moose lol BUT I will put them away!!
I also got an e mail from my cuz in Limestone of a black bear that shimmies up a line to get to a bird feeder I could not believe it
also I know good values BUT sad to say I don't always practice them I am praying to do better
Now if you folks don't see me on here too much it is because I am having RT. shoulder surgery and being in Hospital from Tuesday until I come home. I HAVE been a grouch lately DR. took all my Motrin away I can only have plain tylenol and it's as much good as a drink of water !!

I'm sure they did just as most areas of the country/world have. I'm "from away", people look at me funny because they don't regonize me as being from the area. Being the small town type area most know most here. It doesn't bother me except for the job part. I worked the harvest only because I had to have something. Wont do it again, I'll leave it for the youngsters.

I'm my own worst critic when it comes to my photography. I've sold some images over the past year or two but nothing that can replace a real pay check. I hope to get some good shots of snow scenes this winter, living on the base in Limestone there's alot of places to get shots of undisturbed snow falls.

Hope the surgery goes well, hang in there, it'll be worth it when your all healed and back to normal

Judy, I hope your surgery goes well. It does seem like as we get older we start falling to pieces. Thank goodness I can still ride my horses.
